This week I had a book club meeting. Book club is this club that every one does because its on our must dos and its a part of our learning. In Book club we have a new task every week. This week I had Map Maker. Map Maker is when you make a map of the setting in your book. The things we need to include are People, Title, Compass and a scale. The book that my group is reading is Boy Overboard. I will give you a small part of information about him.
This is Jamal. He loves to play soccer but he has to do it in secret with his friends because the government hates soccer. He lives in Afghanistan with his family Bibi, Dad, Mum and himself. His parents have this little school at his house because the government banned that for no reason. One day his parents told him that the government somehow found out about the school. And when someone breaks the law they get killed. He and his family are now moving to the safest place they can find. Australia.
