Before Camp Q&A

Q, What is your goal for camp?
A, Jesse, Paige and I have made a goal to try everything we can on camp, pushing the limits

Q, Why are you coming to camp?
A, To learn more then I know about leadership and making new friends.

Q, What skills, strengths, qualities, powers do you possess that will help you have a really successful camp        experience?
A, I have my Learning Powers and I.C.A.R.E wich will help me because these qualities are main ideas that       help make a successful team

Q, What will you do if you have a problem at camp? Who will you speak to? What will help you solve your       problem?
A, I will ask/talk about it with my dad, friends or teacher

Q,  How will you be an effective team member in your car group, activity group, and cabin group? What             we see or hear?
A,  I will contribute and listen to other and help each other out

Canada residents get pink water

Citizens of a little Canadian town have started to see pink when they turn on the faucet.

Onoway council has apologized to the citizens of the Alberta town after a water treatment plant turned the water pink. The color was created by a chemical used when routine flushing of the lines.

My Weekly News How much pee is in public pools?

Here are some facts to think about next time you go in for a dip at the public pools...you're swimming in pee. An experimental investigation of swimming pools and hot tubs in Canada ought to found a huge pool of around 830,000 liters could carry up to 75 liters of pee. The scientists began a unique experiment to see how much pee is in public swimming pools. Their new method contains the levels of an unnatural sweetener found in treated food which is passed unaltered in pee! Lindsay Blackstock a University graduate student said the experiment provided new proof that people were certainly peeing in pools.

 I think this experiment is crazy but in a good way that they did all of this just to find out if people pee in the pool.

My IE


For My IE topic, I chose food cultures, with my topic I hope to understand why there are signature foods for different countries like India its spices and Germany its pretzels. To find more about this the qualities I will need is perseverance, courage and the learning powers are resilience so I won’t give up, curiosity because I need to adventure outside of the box, connecting to find out more then the internet can give, creativity for my create part and being me so I can be original. While researching and creating I hope to become better at noticing and savoring the different flavors of different foods instead of devouring them without giving a thought.

My weekly news woman keeps cookie for 85 years



I Arizona a woman has kept a cookie for 85 years after getting it as a gift for valentines day in 1930! Penny Rickhoff has kept the cookie in a jewelry box since it was passed down to her by her mother who saved as a reminder of her first lover.
