My motivation quote that I would use to guide me throughout the year would be unique because if you're always trying to be normal you will never know how amazing you can be.

My Multiple Intelligences test
Today all the year 8's did a multiple Intelligences test. In this test my three strongest points were linguistic, Interpersonal and Visual-spatial.
Linguistic means to listen, be great at talking and are usually good at writing stories a.k.a expressing yourself through words. ( This is my best and I got 75%) Interpersonal means you're great with people, you help out with problems, understanding how other people feel and that you love games ( This is my second best 69% ) Lastly Visual-spatial means that you love reading and writing, sketching, designing, puzzles and that you enjoy looking at videos and pictures e.t.c I am very happy with my results and i’m surprised how much my results have changed from last year.

My Riddle
Two fathers and two sons go out to ALL buy an ice cream but they only buy three ice cream's and every still get's one ice cream each?
How is it possible?
Can you guess the answer?
My favourite Space
This is my favourite space, the Art space. I like working here because I can be unique and creative all at once. Right now I am in the pastel fish art group and have nearly finished my fish.
Lego Figure
I think this would represent me as a mini Lego figure. My beret and paint brush represent I love everything to do with with art and that I am creative, the mini bow on my beret shows that I can be create and fun in style, my clothes show that I don't like being to fancy and just like to relax and wear casual clothes and the book, The Forbidden City show that I love to read a good book in my spare time.
I Wonder Question, If you were a Christmas Decoration what would you be and why?
If I was a Christmas decoration I would be a mini Santa who would sit on the tree, I would wave a sack on my back and a big smile with rosy cheeks. The reason why I would be this decoration is because I would jump into the Christmas stockings and swap the presents that are in my sack and for the ones in the stocking so that every year when I'm packed away I can play with my new presents.

End Of Year Quote
At the start of this year I wasn't the best, I wasn't the person you would like to play sport with and I was trying to hard to be someone else instead of me and messing everything up including my friends. Every day I would day dream of having super powers and fix all my mistakes and make everything perfect right from the beginning but when I saw this quote I thought, Hey? Why not do something about me and my future and start now, to have a brand new ending.

My Weekly News, New emojis planned for 2017!
YAY in 2017 NEW emojis will be released!
Some of them show a continued effort to make emojis more characteristic of the different user, with a breastfeeding mother, a woman wearing a hijab, and a guy with a big beard.
The list will be finished in mid-2017, The proposal reveals many new designs, it doesn’t certainly show exactly how they will look if accepted.
The new emojis include 11 new jobs, each available in both male and female, and across all skin colours.
There are a lot of new foods like a pretzel, a sandwich, a cup with a straw, canned food, broccoli, and a coconut.
And, the list also contains numerous new animals for instance a hedgehog, T-rex, and even a cricket!
I hoped you enjoyed this weeks news!Sunday, 30 October 2016
Mischa's quick write
In the weekend I went to Guy Forks with my friends, Jade, Hayley and Jades little cousin. At Guy forks we went on the same ride about four times then bought some ice cream and candyfloss. Afterwards we had a high five competition than met up with Paige and went on the same ride as before while the fireworks blasted off into the sky. When the fire works finished we walked home.

I Wonder question of the week, how could we reduce NZ possum numbers?
This Week I thought hard about this question and did lots of research because I don't know much about possums!
If you didn't know that possums are a threat, why? because....
1. Possums compete with native birds for habitat and for food such as insects and berries.
2.They also disturb nesting birds, eat their eggs and chicks and may impact on native land snails.
3.Possums ignore old leaves and select the best new growth.
This is why we need hunt possums to help save the native animals!

Calf club Activities
Today at school we made miniature gardens! The rules were that we had to bring our own supplies, that the garden had to be on a dinner plate/tray and we couldn't buy anything at the store. My theme was Alice In Wonderland. To make my garden I used sticks, pom poms, glitter, cardboard, paper, a doll, plastic red and white mushrooms and e.t.c. After we finished our gardens we presented them to other classes than made a blog post about them!

Current events, Fussy Diet causes blindness
A diet of hot chips, Coke and nothing else nearly blinded Australian, Cian Moore.
His mum, Kerry Moore, had tried ophthalmologists and pediatricians trying to figure out why her sons blindness kept growing and growing. But nobody had an answer!
Than Cian's parents saw Sydney ophthalmologist Stephanie Watson attempting to find out what was causing his blindness, turns out he had vitamin A deficiency.
When Cian was young he had fussy eating habits and all he ate was chicken, potatoes, dried bread and coke, this was obviously very unhealthy, unhealthy enough that he started going blind!
Cian is 16 now and is eating lots of vitamin A and his left eye is basically perfect now but his right eye is permanently blind.
